Frisby Girl

We've had a fabulous day at Whipsnade today. Only our third visit using the membership we bought last August!!
Today was the day we made a profit on the membership. Whoop whoop!!
As usual we drove straight to the Lookout Cafe and sat in the sun soaking up the beautiful view while we drank our teas.
Then there was an hour or so of tree climbing, picnic eating and frisby throwing from another viewpoint just along from the cafe.
It was just glorious! The howling Siberian gale that normally blows across the top of the hill was a gentle warm breeze. Gorgeous!
We popped to see the giraffes for a little while and then drove through Africa to the Visitor Centre for me to pick up my membership card and then back to the Lookout Cafe.
More tea, more fabulous views, more picnic and some ice creams.
Then it was to the play centre for half an hour. So lovely seeing Miss E make a little gang of friends and them all having loads of fun running around like loons.
They carried on in the adventure playground outside once our time was up in the play centre.
It was roasting hot we just sat in the sun watching them. Fabulous!
We asked if they wanted to go and see some animals before the zoo closed  - perhaps lions or penguins or flamingos?
They plumped for rabbits in the petting farm.
Honestly!!
At one point I thought they were actually going to fall into the pen with the rabbits!! (See extras)
They were asleep before we got home. After a mad half hour of screeching, squabbling, crying, hitting, squawking and whining in the car.
They've been thrown in bed as they are. Baths first thing in the morning I think!
