Last Light

Needing more steps and some blip possibilities, Phil and I ventured out after supper to Squalicum Harbor, where everyone but us was dressed for high summer weather. Prudent old folks, we were wearing long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and jackets, the latter not really necessary.

I always enjoy looking at the commercial fishing fleet moored there, many of which are massive, well-suited for the rigors of fishing in Alaska. They also provide an intricate web against sunset skies at this time of year, as seen here and in Phil's blip.

Our friend NannaK also saw a beautiful sunset in the Canadian San Juans, and our friend Endless Weekend just posted her 100th blip!
