Smile

21.2C with sunny sunshine all day long. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound was out in her garden this morning, as soon as it was dry enough for her to lie on the grass after yesterday's rain.

I decided to take Maeve walking today so after lunch we went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path and went down to the beach at Westhaven via the level crossing. There were five little sheep in the field between the cycle path and the railway line.

The tide was on its way out. We wandered along the beach to the fishermen's huts. There were new flags flying from Tom's creel storage structure. They made me smile. Valhalla A and three smaller boats were lying on the sand near the shore.

We came along East Row then carried on over the road bridge over the railway then came round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.

Maeve was very hot when we got home, so she had some fresh water and headed back out into the garden to find a shady spot.
