An ordinary life....

Rusty Nail...

This is the remains of the old bird table in the side garden that was almost finished off by the weather last winter, then completely finished off by the digger that came to dig the test pits in the garden, for the extension.

Slow start to the morning as Alan's support worker Jo isn't well so spent time trying to arrange cover for her shift this evening and tomorrow morning.  Thankfully Gill and Ed have stepped into the breach so panic over.

My auntie Maisie is up from Kent on holiday staying at my cousins so David is going to collect her this evening so she can stay over and her and I can spend the day together tomorrow.  Looking forward to seeing her.  She's the only link I have now to my mum and gran, from that generation of women in the family.  I always enjoy reminiscing with her.

Healthy eating still going well.  Romain lettuce, celery, buffalo mozzarella, cantaloupe melon, raw carrots and pumpkin seeds on a plate drizzled with basil oil for lunch.  Delish.  And not a sugar craving in sight.  David had chicken breast, avocado, brie, water cress and a dollop of sour cream.  All much more delicious than a soggy sandwich and a packet of crisps.

Now about to attempt to finish off Ele and Kenny's holiday photo book as just had a reminder from Photobox that my voucher will expire soon.  Photos are all done, just adding some text now - a few memories to embarrass them give them a giggle  ;-))

Happy Tuesday Peeps x
