The boiling sea

Today it was windy and rainy. I set out to see the Hebridean stones on Mangaster  Beach. The sea was very rough and completely absorbing. I took a lot of images, but I suspect that video is required to show the true power and force of those waves. There is a strong undertow here, so it is not safe for surfing, despite the big waves.

I took a careful walk on the cliffs to view the bay from above but the wind became very strong and I had to retreat.

This is the third back blip from my holiday - catching up steadily now!
