The Butterfly Effect... Abstract Thursday

It sure has been a day... I was taken just about straight away at the eye specialists this morning. They put so many anaesthetic drops in my eyes they still haven't come right. I was told to have a early night and they should be much better by lunch time tomorrow.

It is hard to explain what they found with my eyes, so this is the best I can do. In the Macula area at the back of the eye which has fat, parts of that has come away, which has left scarring. So in time it may reach the area that reflects light and when that happens I will loss my sight. One good thing is that it can be operated on. It is major surgery but should be very successful. Like all operation's there is a risk but only small one that I could loss my sight.

The specialist was amazed how good my vision still was. He told me to check each eye once a week and if I notice any changers to contact him straight away. I am to have another scan done in four months time.

It sure has been a expensive day. I had to pay for a more expensive scan as well as the specialists fee. I don't have medical insurance. On top of that I couldn't drive my car for at least two hours even then I still couldn't see very well. I looked around the shops., which proved to be even more expensive, as I brought some summer sandals and that wasn't all!

The Optometrist wanted me call him after I had seen the Specialist.. because I had so much time to fill in, as I couldn't see to drive, I thought I would call in to see him. There was a woman having trouble with something so I had a long wait so decided to try on glasses which was fatal as I decided to get some new ones.

I just made it home to be able to change my cloths for Spin Class. My friend noticed my eyes before I even said something. Luckily by the time class was over my eyes were not so dilated!

After having a coffee with my friend I took a quick trip into the city as I knew where a good abstract shot could be taken. I did do a little playing around with it but just couldn't get the colours I wanted.. but it's OK. What do you think it is?

I am having trouble with seeing the writing so will get back to you all when I can. Thank you all for your best wishes and concerns over my eye problem.
