Derelict Building?

I was either going to get up and go for a walk or get up and go to M&S.  I know which I wanted to do, however the weather was awful so M&S won.  I zoomed there and back – with no desire to hang around and go to any other shops. Once home I did the supermarket shop then headed home to make chicken noodle soup which went down a treat for lunch.  The boys had got soaked through coming home from church so were in need of some hot soup.

The weather seemed to break a bit and we even had a blue sky for a wee while.  We headed out for a walk along the river.  We got back to the town centre about 4.15pm.  The Christmas lights were to be switched on around 5.30pm.  No one wanted to hang around – and to quote BB, what’s so great about seeing the lights switched on – they will be on tomorrow!  We were very glad we didn’t hang around as the weather deteriorated again.

We came home and had a gin and tonic accompanied by gin and tonic crisps (see extra).  It has been a weekend of gourmet delights!! TT is making curry for tea.

Here is a ruined looking building by the river.  You probably get a better view here.
