Cromer Christmas Lights

We got up early for a Saturday and after a quick dog walk got into Norwich by 11, where we split up to shop in earnest! Jon & I headed straight to a coffee shop!

After 3 hours we reconvened and back at the car drove to Cromer for the late afternoon. It was cold. Very windy so we sheltered in the church. It was my first time in the church. They had a Christmas tree festival and a few charity stalls. There were more stalls in the street, but they were all feeling the cold, especially those not far from the sea. When we realised they weren't actually turning on the lights until 5.30 we made the decision to head home.

So the evening has been Strictly, crisps, chocolate, beer and trawling the Christmas/New Year radio times!

This photo originally had Mollie in it - but now looking closely with my glasses on, I realised she had her eyes shut - so I cropped her out! So it is the tree decorated by Cromer Academy. It didn't win, but it was pretty!

They are now watching the first Star Wars film - a DVD we bought today - we used to have it on video tape. It's to be followed by the other 2 in the next week, in readiness for the new one at the cinema. I was going to try and watch it, but I can't stay focused. I'm just not good at films.

They say we may be losing 'Blipfoto' so I may have to find a new format for my daily blog. I'm going to do a bit of research on that. Now I'm going to try and write a bit of my book.
