Sill

Back to the gloom and rain today after yesterday's lovely weather and still pondering what it all meant- having been introduced to my first Terminator film last night! Son#1's choice I hasten to add and more confusion than was strictly necessary as we watched the newest one first.

Derelict Sunday today -  a small window in my favourite derelict house. A window has fallen in, rain is coming through the roof, the brambles are monstrous but it retains a huge charm. Very colourful too - the paintwork inside is blue with bright red interiors to the dresser and cupboards. The clock in the kitchen stopped at twenty past 1, posh glasses, now greening, remain in the cupboard, the pink wallpaper with a blue border hangs by a breath, threadbare brooms are propped against the backdoor,  a string bag hangs in the small shed and a skeleton of a rabbit lies in the front room - how it got there is a mystery. It has a warm and pleasant air but I fear it won't be here for much longer.

Thanks to Maisiebeth for hosting - anyone else interested in doing a four week stint? Please let one or other of us know.

And thank you so much for all lovely comments on my PledgeBlipfoto image of a couple of days ago. Gob-smacked! Thank you Annie for choosing it as your image.  And the money continues to go up - just check under that sofa cushion, at the bottom of your bag, in the jamjar in the kitchen, under the bed and on the dresser - surprising how much can be found by foraging!
