Yes, sun at last!

I was dismayed that it was raining again this morning as last night's sky was crystal clear and full of stars. However a glimmer of orange appeared as we walked through Cottingley Woods and grew into a lovely sunrise as we crossed Beckfoot Golf Course - see my friends in the extra with their rosy glow! A slightly later and smaller breakaway group this morning. The lady on the left is blipper rose54 with D my next door neighbour.

This was taken just as the sun was about to breach the horizon half way up Beckfoot Lane. We just couldn't stop pausing to admire it.

Unfortunately it did fade away and we had more rain until late morning whe the sun came back! How much better we all feel with just a sight of the sun!
