Lovely Epiphany service this morning at the Congregational church across the road from us. Nice to have a joint service for a change and we had all those lovely carols for this time of year including 'We three kings'.

One week into 2017 now. Always looking for signs of hope like lighter mornings and there are a few bulbs coming up in the garden but more cold weather on the way at the end of the week we're told. January marches on.
