An ordinary life....

And Breathe...

Had a bit of a sore head this morning so after giving Alan his lunch, I had a wander in the side garden.  The fresh air did me the world of good and within 5 minutes of being outside, my headache had cleared.  Result.

There's not much left to photograph out there as what can be relocated round the back has been, and what's left will be destroyed when the builders start the extension.

On that note, we got word this morning that the building warrant has been granted.  All we need to do now is find a builder.  The tender documents will be getting sent out within the next couple of weeks (fingers crossed) and hopeful work will begin not long after that.

Charlene, the new member of Alan's support team, started her shadow shifts today.  She will be metered by the other team members until her manual handling training is complete and she feels confident to support Alan on her own.  He was very pleased to see her.

He's even more excited about this evening as Gill returns after a period of absence due to surgery.   He will be hyper come 7pm!

Been thinking about the negotiations that have been taking place today to save Blip.   Hoping everything is going as well as it can.  I know it might be a few weeks before we know what's happening but hoping for a positive outcome.   Can't imagine not having the daily Blip ritual.
