Budding amaryllis

For Flower Friday, with thanks to BikerBear for hosting. This is the amaryllis  I bought as Christmas table decoration , the bulb has been dipped into red wax and has a little wire base, no need to water :-)
It's in the same window where the squirrel and birds come to visit the feeders disguised as plants on the outside window sill. If you're wondering why the background is so white .... well, it snowed overnight and kept on snowing during the morning :-) It's all turning into a load of sludge now. I've put in an extra to show another white on white exercise, had to take advantage of this snow after all ;-)
