Concorde

We met up with some friends today at the Museum of Flight, which is nearby.  The boys had lots of fun.  They headed straight for the assault course and BB was covered in mud before we even got started looking around.  They are currently in the process of overhauling two of the hangars which are due to open around Easter, but there is still plenty to see.  The boys like the interactive section. I’m pretty keen on it too as it is indoors and there is heating!  They did a spy trail as we wandered round and got to see a Swiss Enigma machine.  After lunch we explored the Concorde hangar and the boys got to learn about and practice semaphore and Morse code.

Once home, I have baked a cake and packed our weekend bags as we are off to see grandma and granddad for the weekend.  BB did a smidgeon of cello practice and then got his new Lego set out and got stuck into making it

In case you have ever wondered what the inside of Concorde looked like – here it is - very much like any other plane!
