Swaledale

We all had a bit of a lie in which was nice, followed by a quiet morning.  After we had been out shopping we returned home to a football match.   TT and his dad were supporting one team, while BB was supporting the other.  Poor BB was in the minority and got quite upset by the whole thing  - especially about his grandad’s shouting.  Tensions were high.  Grandma and I stayed well clear.  It all ended in a draw, so there will be a replay.

After that was over, TT, BB and I headed out up the dale to Reeth where we had a wander. After a promising morning, it had turned into a grey afternoon.  We visited the play park – which has the most magnificent views of Swaledale, before heading down to the river and then a walk around the village.

A quiet evening rounded off a relaxing day (apart from that noisy ninety minutes).

Here is a view of Swaledale at Reeth.
