Out of the Box

I started this painting today in open studio. It is based on the same photo as my last painting.

What I ended up doing was jumping right out of my usual style and playing with abstraction. I think this needs more work. As it is there is too much going on. But I am having fun and I really enjoyed playing with this today. For some reason the photo does not look sharp. It looks better large.
