A Sunday Walk

A very pleasant Sunday lunch with my sister Janet and her husband Mark (Incredibish). Almost a mini blip meet ;-)

After lunch we went for a walk from the Cotswold village of Uley up to Uleybury hillfort.  For the first time in several days the clouds parted and for a while we actually had sunshine - maybe it really is Spring after all.

I'm not sure if you will be able to see the 2 men and a dog who are on the Cotswold Way which crosses Spring Hill in the centre of the picture?  Its a fairly hazy day, so while you can see the River Severn valley in the distance and the Berkeley Nuclear Power Station, its not really possible to make out much the hills of Wales towards Abergavenny and the Sugar Loaf.

Looking back, I realise that I've not often blipped a landscape.  I am not really sure why.  But, on reflection it may be something to do with working in an office in a city 5 days a week - it does tend to inhibit that sort of thing!
