BLOSSOMS

Backlit blossoms. We went in the morning to the Ford garage, left the car there for some checks and walked through Beverungen. We visited some shops, walked along the Weser, stopped at the Tourist information for new map and leaflets for walks in the surroundings, were informed in a super friendly way about interesting places, which we already had visited in the last years.
The lovely trees with blossoms kept amazing us. White blossoms and pink too. So suddenly a more cheerful sight everywhere.
In the afternoon we read and rested.

My haiku:

Look up to see it
The white and pink blossoms all
Smiling at us

And the proverb:

To have the black dog on one's back.

(= to be in low spirits, or in the sulks)

1778  Mrs. Thrale in Piozzi Letters  II.
