White and Purple Irises

We're back in Northampton and these flowers are on the next street.   This evening we attended an evening sponsored by Springfield's High School of Commerce Photography  Club, featuring a presentation by Nina Rosenblum, an eminent documentary film maker. Mentored by two members of my photography club (PVPA), the club gives students from modest backgrounds intensive personal instruction in photography.  It was a moving evening, with the students' presentation of their projects adding a great deal.
