A Little Birdie Told Me

It was a Verdin.  I really like these little birds. They are just slightly larger than a house finch; quite unique with their yellow cap and face and the small rufous patch on the upper wing.

Today was much like yesterday.  The sun should come out tomorrow.  The good news is that the temp won't hit the century mark again until Wednesday.  The bad news?  Back to 114°/46° within ten days.  At least that's what they say right now!  :-)
