The Edge of the Wold

Swanlight

This was taken as Gus and I began the evening walk along the estuary,  a heavy shower was retreating and the sun had briefly broken through just before it set.  The solitary swan was spotlit in a rippled pool of light.

We had just returned from a very pleasant and sociable afternoon at Sheilwill and Willllwynbedw's who were flying the flag for Tim and Melanie's wedding the previous day.  There were 5 blippers (active and dormant) on the premises when we arrived, an involuntary blipmeet.  It was a shame we missed C though, she had stalked off disappointed before we appeared.

Backblipped on 29 August, Wifie's birthday.
