A view from Jeanneb

Holiday walkers.

A beautiful day for a Bank Holiday and we spent it walking along the River Wharfe.

We crossed the river at Addingham and walked the fields and lanes above the river towards Ilkely. It was quite busy with other walkers and cyclists on the back roads.

Here we are crossing the old bridge at Ilkley - Yorkshirebred, Corinthian Column and Mr CC, and Chris.

Returning along the riverside we were at the start of the Dales Way. The signs said 82 miles to Bowness on Windermere. No way! But it did complete a most pleasant 5 mile walk which concluded at the lovely St Peter's church in Addingham before we sought out lunch and refreshments on the way home.
Thank you C for organising another splendid walk.
