Over the Rooftops to the Isle of May

Another lovely morning and I slipped out for a  walk just as everyone was getting up.  Later on, we all had a wander down to the harbour and round the coast to the playpark.  BB spent a long time on the swings – and who could blame him, with such a marvellous view out to the Isle of May.  I even joined him for a while.  Granny and grandad enjoyed the same view in the glorious sunshine from the comfort of a park bench.

After lunch we took a drive along the cost stopping off in St Monans.  And guess what, we went for a  wander in the sunshine.  We visited St Monans Parish Church, reputedly the church nearest to the sea in Scotland.  We then wandered back round the harbour, stopping in a café for ice creams and cakes.  BB and I walked to the St Monans windmill, which was associated with salt pans, with stops at the playpark for more swinging!  Granny and grandad chose to sit in the sun again!

We had a quiet evening, but I did watch The Fall.
