Wigwam Cafe

The Wigwam Cafe is a temporary one - known as a pop-up in today's language - and Waddesdon's attempt to have enough eating places for the thousands of visitors who will come over the Christmas season.  The Marketing dept had asked me if I could go along and take some photographs with the twinkling lights.

I was working in the House today so managed a short break to nip down to the area in front of the summer house and take some photos.  It is a very welcoming area with a fire burning and sheepskin covers to the seats - hot food and drinks are available here; it is the meeting point for the Blipmeet at Waddesdon Manor on December 16th.

We had seventeen coach parties in over the day plus the usual visitors so pretty much flat out all the time. Now off to a choir rehearsal - it's a busy time of year!
