Another Picture of James

It was not only freezing this morning, about minus one degrees Celsius, but also very foggy. I had a physiotherapy appointment this morning in Saffron Walden and despite doing my exercises I did not think my shoulder had improved. Paul (my physiotherapist) thought the swelling had gone down and that it had improved a little. However, he decided to do some acupuncture on the muscles in my shoulder. I did not know that this could be done on the NHS and was a little apprehensive, as I have never believed this could work. Time will tell as to whether it works or not, but for now it is much better; I have two new exercises to do and I have to go back again in two weeks.

The fog has not cleared all day and I took pictures out of the kitchen window. Then when Dougal decided for the tenth time that he would check the weather, this pheasant was eating some of the birdseed, which I had scattered under the bird feeders when I had refilled them around lunchtime. Florence also went outside for a while and sat on the balcony watching the fog roll by!
