Getting the shot

Lunch with my brother and then a quick walk, taking the short route around the formal gardens and Fairy Grotto at Cannon Hall.    It's ages since I've walked around there and it looks as though the gardens are already responding to cuts as they have grassed over a couple of the beds.  I keep thinking that they'll choose the annual power solution that we saw at Manor Park and around Hartlepool.  It seems such an obvious and very lovely solution.
