A time for everything

Reflections

Sunday
Roger spent a very frustrating day yesterday trying to replace the discharge hose on the dishwasher which had a hole in it. The main difficulty was getting the dishwasher out in the first place, as due to poor kitchen design (which was done by the previous owners), it is an extremely tight fit, width-wise and height-wise. Finally, having battled with it most of the day, and got it back in, and turned it on, we discovered it is now leaking from the door! So after lunch, we went out looking at new dishwashers and refrigerators, since we believe the fridge/freezer isn't functioning properly either and,  since it is 20 years old, isn't worth spending money on. Problem is, appliances keep getting bigger and bigger over here it seems, and many are too big for our older size kitchen! So after a frustrating day yesterday and shopping trip today, it was good to get out into nature for some exercise and to de-stress! We went to Cincinnati Nature Center, where I thought the reflections in the lake made a nice picture. It was late afternoon by this time, so we couldn't make it a very long walk, but at least we both got our 10,000 steps on our Fitbits!
