Results for Mono Monday 165 :: MM165

A lovely crop of interpretations again this week. I can only give out 5 hearts so here they are:

GracieG - 'Time for a chat' I love how is implies so much. You can almost hear the natter and clinking of teaspoons.

Majoayee - 'Community links...' Our communities have expanded far and wide but have become so close, just because of these wires.

DoingOK - 'The General Store' The heart of the local community in years past, redefining itself as we all need to over time. Reminds me of a Rockwell.

Puffin - 'Tea Time' The world wouldn't be the same without the WI and a cup of tea....

Incredibish - 'Community' or as I title it 'The Final Community' In the past so often the heart, soul and link in the community. I heard yesterday 75% of folk are cremated these days with only 35% of those having a marker placed in their memory. Maybe everyone is opting for virtual memories these days...

Mono Monday 166 :: MM166

Next week's theme is split in two. Do one or the other. The first may need more attention so I have linked to some possible examples.

1) FACELESS PORTRAIT

How to capture a portrait of someone without their face showing? Maybe suggest what they do or are all about. These links to other Blipper's past posts may help:

Rainie A triptych that captures the child so well.

Alternateview 'Hands' shows great detail and insight into the personality of the subject.

NannaK 'Hands' shows someone doing something they love and could be what you remember them for.

2) OPEN

This is open to interpretation! Either use what it says or take it as a free theme week. Just produce a lovely mono of something you've been itching to do.
