The Old Forge (Sunday 30th April 2017)

I took just two pictures on Sunday, this bluebell, and next-door's clematis, growing over the fence (see Extra), both subjects I have previously blipped. This is a different bluebell that has sprung up nearer the other side of the miniature woodland garden to the one before.
If they're going to spread I'm all for it.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Muddy Waters - Rollin' And Tumblin' (recorded 21 October 1950, Chicago IL, for Aristocrat)
After the previous day's Cream version, and on the anniversary of his death in 1983 at the age of 70, here is Muddy Waters' 1950 rendition, with Ernest "Big" Crawford on stand-up bass.
"Leonard Chess insisted that Waters record the song less than a month after Waters had recorded a version for the rival Parkway label, featuring his bandmates Little Walter and Baby Face Leroy Foster. The Parkway label credits the Baby Face Leroy Trio, with vocals by Leroy, and Muddy Waters as the songwriter." - Wikipedia
