John Smith

"A young man, known by the name of John Smith, supposed to be a native of Italy, who was drowned in the River Lune, Augst 28th 1869 Aged 19 years. This stone was erected by his fellow workmen as a token of their respect"

As you can see behind the stone, this part of the graveyard is growing wild at the moment and it looks great. All apart from this one grave, which has been mown.
