I joined a different walking group this evening, a local Meetup group, and had a 5.5 mile walk through the countryside around Codnor.  They're a very nice bunch of people and I'll walk with them again :-)

Halfway round we had a pub stop and we stood between two pubs until someone took the initiative and chose which door to go through.  I didn't notice that we'd gone in the 'wrong' one until we came out - look what beer I missed out on - see the extra.

p.s. we were following a footpath, but the gate was shut.  Most people climbed through it, but there's always one....
