Lobster pots at Tarbert

Today's tandem route was Dunoon to Portavadie with a stop for lunch in Tighnabruaich, then across the water to Tarbert, with the last stage up the A83 to Lochgilphead. The cycling over the hills just prior to lunch was punishing, so much so that we had to get off the bike and push at one point - a rare occurrence.

Our accommodation tonight is a bed and breakfast in Lochgilphead. Tomorrow we'll be back in the saddle again for the next étape to Benderloch, just north of Oban.

I blipped these lobster pots on the quayside in Tarbert.

Exercise today: 44 miles of tandem riding.
