In the Pampas

This isn't a great shot but I wanted to record it. Can you spot 7 small birds?

Walking up to church this morning I could see one of these grasses bowed down to the pavement. As I approached I could see four little birds on the stem weighing it down.

I got the camera out and approached as close as I dared. Quite a few flew off but I could still see numbers on the grasses obviously enjoying the seeds. I've never seen this before and following from yesterday's berry feeding it seems rather extraordinary.
