From Platform 4C at Birmingham New Street

Waiting for the train to Shropshire having got off the train from Euston I looked up to see this most impressive reflective cliff face mirroring the surrounding buildings. It must be part of the renovations of the Bull Ring, but I'm not sure. On one occasion an emergency service vehicle was passing along a hidden street to be reflected back on many different panels of the building. I didn't have my camera ready at the time but it was a strange thing to see.

Good journey all around from Bearsted to Wellington, everything on time with plenty of space. Wet up here, although it cleared enough in the late afternoon for us to take Hugo for a walk. We were planning to walk up the Wrekin but it turned out to be a step too far in the time allowed.

We're up here for a Cousin's Reunion, (here's a link to the 2013 meeting. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3683233 ) an annual affair where as many of the 12 remaining cousins of my mother's family get together. Our ages range from 59 to 79. Who knows how long we'll be able to carry on.
