The Sourdough Bakery

It was a rather windy day with lots of clouds, but we decided to be brave and go to the sourdough bakery, which is located on a farm in the countryside. It has a woodfired oven and is one of our favourite places. Dogs are allowed in the outside seating area, which is fine because there are splendid views that you wouldn't want to miss.

Even though the place was packed, most people chose to sit inside so we had a great table all to ourselves. There was a wide selection of lunch dishes, sandwiches and fika bread (cakes, cookies and buns). Heidi had a beetroot soup and mum had a beetroot salad, both with yummy sandwiches with cheese and carrot marmalade. I got several pieces of cheese and sandwich, including Dolly's portions. Yay!! We had a GREAT time! The we went walkies down a country lane and mum also bought farm eggs. A few drops of rain fell but we were OK.

We had cod with bacon and brown butter for dinner, and I got lots of bacon and some fish. Yummy! Then we watched an English TV show about dogs competing with their owners in all sorts of different adventures. We liked it!
