Festival

A day out for MrP, though the morning was spent tapping the maw's reminiscences of her mother-in-law into the laptop. Then out through the rain to three events at the Book Festival. James Fergusson on Muslim Britain (thought provoking and authoritative but slightly rose tinted sez I), Angus Roxburgh on Russia interviewed by Alan Little (fabulous) and Alan Little again (poorly chaired). In between I managed a pint and stovies in Teuchters. Heroic.
Then to the Diggery Dogs - the Netherlands trip is getting closer. The excitement is rising. MrW has an iPhone charger with six charges! We have two stoves! And three chairs. Oh, but it's good to be alive.
