A day at the beach, Sandbanks, Ontario, Canada

We all slept really well in our tents last night - hurrah! Mr hazelh and I love our blow-up mattress and the cooler temperatures here. Even better, Mr hazelh has turned a corner and has been able to join in with our activities today. The only slight problem is that don_T and I woke up coughing...

We spent most of the day on the beach (blipped). Normally we would almost certainly have been in and out of the water and/or taken a long walk along the shoreline, but none of us really felt up to this. As well as the coughing, poor don_T has had a raging headache since this morning and my skin and limbs felt strange and achy all afternoon.

By this evening we concluded that we have caught the lurgy from Mr hazelh. It is possible that Mr don_T may be Patient 0: he had a nasty headache last Wednesday. That makes Mr hazelh Patient 1, me Patient 2, and don_T Patient 3. We have named our illness the 'Louisville lurgy' because it was in Louisville on Monday night (after the eclipse) that Mr hazelh first started to feel ill.

I retired to bed early. It will be a long and uncomfortable night :-(

Exercise today: none
