Presa De Guadalest Walk

We set off late morning for the 75 minute drive up and down bendy mountain roads to Guadalest (Spain) to do walk 15 of the excellent Sunflower (publisher) Costa Blanca walks and car tours. It was a 6.25 mile walk around the reservoir of about 2hr 25mins. Temperature was a pleasant 26C with a fresh breeze.

The views all around the reservoir are stunning, with the colour of the water a beautiful turquoise. The blip photo is taken from the far end before the return leg and shows the rock on the right that houses Guardalest Castle (see extra) which can be seen all the way around the reservoir and for miles around.
