Turkish Hazel - Corylus Colurna

We were on the road for Norwich at 9am to check out what Norwich City College has to offer for Henry. It was a very useful visit, and has given Henry lots to think about. The main thing now is to get his application in. We looked at various engineering diplomas, electrical and mechanical, plus spoke to the apprenticeships section.

A couple of hours there, then in to the city for a couple more hours shopping. Weather was dismal, but it hadn't put anyone off shopping and the streets were very full. On our way back to the car Jon spotted this tree. A turkish hazel. He is the expert, so I believe him. Big bunches of small hazel nuts in curly husks

Back home it has been housework and shopping. Now an evening of TV and relaxation! Strictly as good as ever. Debbie to win...woop woop!
