Autumn at The Beeches

One of our beech trees is already bare, but the other is hanging onto quite a few leaves. The beech hedges are shedding too. I photographed during the afternoon as the sun descended and the leaves were backlit.

I've been at home today. The job of moving the bedroom to study and vice versa (via the dining room) continues. I'm still sleeping in the dining room for now, but will soon be ready to move the computer(s) from one room to another. That will be the very testing time. It will be very good in the end.......
