Lanes of Wilsden

This was taken at 7.46 am. We were walking above the village of Wilsden and I just loved the early light on the tree and the fence posts. You can also see the moon (just) centre top. There was a frost but not as heavy as Monday's and though pretty chilly it was another suoer morning.

It's not the obvious choice as the walk also takes in great views - across to our village and the wooded estate of St Ives behind it and, in the other direction the much blipped Hewenden Viaduct.
Nice as these are I have taken them before so I've gone with this lane leading to Wilsden Hill. ( Niw added in the view as most people seem to prefer it)

Neighbour D originates from Somerset and has recently been back down to visit family. She brought us some bread pudding which I think is a Somerset speciality. (I've seen it in Bristol) something to look forward to with a cuppa after Pilates thus afternoon.

Other news from Bristol Eda now weighs 9lb 2oz!
