Chin Up!

This male Yaffle came visiting the lawn today, as I was making myself a cup of tea.  I had been thinking that a quick blip of one of the other visitors to the bird feeder would be the answer to my current house bound state - so the camera was in the right place at the right time.

You can tell that its a male from the red stripe in the moustache area (thanks go to the RSPB web site for that bit of information).  They eat ants apparently, so they are always most welcome on our lawns, although he might have been after something else for lunch today given that it is now November.
