New Painting

This is the new painting I'm working on now. It is based on the photo in the extras of a staircase in the chateau at Auvere sur Oise. I am in the very early stages of the painting and can already see a few changes I want to make to it. Today I was working without my reference photo as I had accidentally left my cell phone home and that's where the photo was. Next time it will be different.

After open studio I went up to the lake house to open the door for a fellow from Louis Auto Glass so he could measure the windows that will need new inserts. Jane and Will were there and we ended up having a good conversation together. Also Raven was there cleaning up the garden. I'll be so happy when the house finally goes on the market.
