Channeling my inner child

Another  football match today.  This time it was the F A Cup.  Newcastle were playing Luton. The adult tickets cost £10 but for old folks like me they were only £5. Bargain. When I booked online my normal seat was already taken so I had to choose a different seat.  I was still in the East Stand but nearer the goal at the opposite side. I enjoyed the game.  Newcastle managed to get 3 goals in 9 mins before the half time break.  Luton only scored once in the second half and the final score was Newcastle 3 Luton 1.  Wonder who we will get in the next round - hope its a home game so I can go.

My blip shows a recent online purchase. I just couldn't resist it.  Its a small purse. I am going to put a spare carrier bag inside it and pop it into my handbag - just in case  I need an extra bag when I'm out shopping.  I have tagged it for " Silly Saturday " as some might think it silly for someone of my age to be buying such a childish thing - but I do love it and it makes me smile whenever I look at it.  Hope it makes you smile too.
