A view from Jeanneb

Blue skies and Bents Lane

Went to the hairdresser this morning and the sun came out whilst I was there.

Driving back the views across Bradford and the scattered clouds just above the horizon were great but there is never anywhere to stop. It was beautiful even in Queensbury though there was still a bit of snow up there but when I stopped at the farm shop the views were all obscured by fences, buildings and wind turbines. Remarkably it was pleasant up there, no howling wind or driving rain.

Almost back home I turned up Bents Lane in a last attempt to capture some thing of the day. The Lane can be seen here together with views down to our nearby town of Bingley. Above and to the left of the town is Bingley Moor and left again are the woods of the St Ives Estate, just out out of view is our village.

Really springlike today and snowdrops and early crocus are coming up in the garden. We can dream.

Have a nice weekend everyone.
