Boring Box Blip...

If there was a weekly Boring Blip challenge I reckon I would be in with a shout for many hearts and stars for this one :-))

This is the room that is about to become the sitting room / office for Alan's support team and I took this quick phone shot this morning to have as the before shot for my record of all the work that's been done in the house as part of the building project.  Didn't intend to blip it but haven't got anything else to offer :-))  The flat packs contain the desk, bookcase, tv unit as well as the gate-leg table for their kitchen.   If we were relying on David building it we would be waiting a long time, so we are using Ikea's new assembly service.

I was all set to get a proper snowy blip today but we've only had a few short flurries with blue skies and sunshine in between.  Absolutely freezing cold though.

Lola was out for a walk with the new dog walker this afternoon.  This was their first time out together (we decided not to continue with the first dog walker we contacted) after he came to the house and met her last week.  They timed it perfectly and managed to avoid the snow flurries.

He is so lovely with her and when they returned he said that apart from eating some rabbit poo (yuk!) she walked beautifully and did everything she was asked to do.  She really likes him and they had a great time, which is a huge relief and a load off my mind for when he's walking her next week when David is away.  They're going back out together tomorrow, weather permitting.

Talking of the weather (and everyone in the UK seems to be) I've just read that our area may be upgraded from an Amber Alert weather warning to a Red Alert for tomorrow and Thursday.  A large snow fall predicted, in which case Lola will be confined to the garden but that won't worry her as she loves the snow!

Worried it will impact Alan's support team and mean those who live further away won't be able to get here.  That's not a crisis this week but if the bad weather continues, will be a massive problem next week with David away.  Fingers crossed it will all be gone by Monday.

All those affected by the Beast from the East, stay safe :)
