An ordinary life....

Cuddles on the Couch...

Woke up at 7.30am expecting be completely snowed in.  There had been snow overnight but it was bright and dry.  The weather forecast for the central belt was horrendous though and as poor Ally has to travel here from the south side of Glasgow, I contacted her to say not to even attempt to come in.

As the morning wore on it became apparent any plans we had for today would have to be cancelled, not so much because of the weather here, but elsewhere.  So the architect, the dog trainer, coffee out has been re-scheduled.

We did have a couple of flurries as the day went on but it returned to blue sky and sunshine afterwards.  David had to go to Perth unexpectedly to pick up supplies for Alan (carrier let us down) and the local roads and A9 were absolutely fine.  I was glad when he got back though as I was in soul charge of Alan and Lola!  Poor them!

Jordan got here ok to start his shift at 3pm and as he's also due to do the morning shift tomorrow, he's just going to stay over.  At least that way we know there's cover for Alan for the morning as the (first ever!) red weather alert that's been issued for the central belt is from 3pm this afternoon till 10am tomorrow.

The good news is the dog walker still came at 3pm as agreed and took Lola out for half an hour.  They went over the golf course where she apparently spent 30 minutes bouncing and rolling in the snow.  She did similar in the garden this morning.  She absolutely loves it.

Afterwards there was nothing else for it but a cuddle and tickle on the sofa.  She was in heaven as I tickled her tummy and I thought I would treat her to a SONG.  I think her changing expression tells you all you need to know about her opinion of my singing!

All together now L.O.L.A Lola.... :-))

Stay safe snow affected peeps x
