Easter Eggs

Another miserable, dark and wet day. No one got up early, which made for a  lazy morning.  TT, BB and I eventually got dressed for the weather and headed down town with Grandma’s shopping list.

After lunch we decided to go to the cinema.  BB chose Peter Rabbit, but when we got there it was sold out.  Everyone must have headed to the cinema on a wet Saturday afternoon.  We bought tickets for a later performance and headed out for a walk by the river – in the rain.  Poor BB got wet feet, so we had to go back to Grandma’s for dry footwear, before we headed back our to the cinema.  TT and Grandad were watching football.

BB loved the movie and laughed all the way through it.  I had very low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised, as it was very funny.  As we walked home, he said, I could just watch that all over again!

Grandma had prepared a lovely tea and we had a quiet evening.
