One of those moments

Over the past couple of weeks I've helped with testing a new responsive website with doctors. Today we finished this round of testing and we were given chocolate as a thank you.

As I chose a flavour I immediately thought I'd choose something Dad would like and send it to him. Almost just as immediately my eyes filled with tears.

Instead I asked my colleagues to help choose a block we could share. It was a nice alternative to ease a raw moment.

Other than that we've had rain, hail, and sleet today. A bit rough for April.

Today's gratitude: For knowing that Dad loves me and I love him. As a friend pointed out to me, that isn't every daughter's legacy.
