Spring!

A sunny day at last, and really warm at a balmy 18C! Well, that is balmy after the recent temperatures we have been experiencing. 

Last night I had eight males sleeping in the house, what one would call a testosterone filled house! Luke had four friends staying over and Thomas had one friend - Adam is away at his girlfriend's house otherwise it could have been even more males in the house. Luke and his friends had great fun playing poker last night and Luke was pleased as he won (they all put in £10 and some how he ended up with £55 pounds....) 

This morning they all woke up at different times after a very late night and it gave me a chance to cook breakfast in relays - it was very pleasant cooking bacon and eggs while chatting to the boys, its always so delightful speaking to young adults and hearing their views. 

Breakfast finally finished close to lunch time and so once everything was all washed up and tidied away Gavin and I went to a pub for a light salad lunch, where we enjoyed sitting outside in the sunny garden. I spotted these blossoms near the pub and could not resist taking some photos.

We are having a BBQ for supper, it is such a lovely evening we may as well enjoy it while it lasts. Think it will be a one day wonder as tomorrow is cooler again, and the real good weather comes next week.
